on Jun 14My wife an I built this house ten years ago on top of a mountain in NW Va near Harpers Ferry. We added a basement and enclosed the screened porch into a sun room, and dropped the bedroom fireplace and enlarged the fireplace in the living room. We enclosed and beefed up the foundation and added triple lambeams for added foundation support. We eliminated two doors on the first floor and one on the second to add symmetry. This is otherwise a solid house plan and very well laid out.
